Questions
Frequently asked.
What is a Plan of Management?
A document that sets out how a premises will operate to manage impacts on neighbours, such as hours, patron numbers, noise, security, waste and complaints. Councils commonly require one for licensed venues, late trading premises and gyms.
Can you write the SEE for plans another consultant prepared?
Yes. Many clients come with plans from their architect or building designer and need the planning report and supporting documentation.
What is a clause 4.6 variation?
Clause 4.6 of Sydney's LEPs allows council to approve development that does not comply with a development standard, such as height or floor space ratio, where a written request justifies the variation. These requests need careful, well reasoned argument.
